The electric insect zapper is the best way of clearing the space around you of insects, especially the flying ones such as mosquitoes. The electric bug zapper vaporizes any insect from a mosquito to a gnat instantaneously on contact with a nice, loud, electrical ‘crack’!

However, this is not to say that the indoor bug zapper cannot be operated outdoors, as long as it is not too wet. It should be treated like any other high voltage electrical equipment. Keep the electric insect killer dry and please do not use it while you are standing in water!

Models do vary a lot, but there are basically only two kinds of hand held bug killer: the battery operated bug killer and the rechargeable electric bug zapper. Both are equally effective at killing insects and employ the same principle.

The hand held bug zapper looks like a ‘junior’ tennis racket, but with three sets of ’strings’, which are in fact wires. The innermost network of wires becomes live at the touch of a button while the other two grids, one on either side, are earths.

When a bug is caught between the wires of the hand held bug killer, it creates a short, which evaporates it instantaneously with a loud crack. The indoor insect zapper will kill other insects too, but they tend to burn rather than explode.

I have been using the rechargeable sort for five years and am extremely happy with the hand held insect killer. In fact, the electric bug zapper has come a long way in the last few years. A fully charged indoor insect zapper is strong enough to last for several hundred swipes and will hold it’s charge, when unused, for weeks without any significant discharge.

The rechargeable battery pack will take intensive use for the best part of a year, although its ability to hold a charge for a few weeks gradually diminishes after six or seven months.

The latest indoor insect killer I’ve had has a main on/off switch, an LED that comes on when it is activated (the brightness of this light also gives an indication of the battery’s strength) and a light that comes on when the zapper is on recharge.

The instructions on the wrapper suggest that it should be (re)charged for about sixteen hours. I usually put mine on charge over night once or twice every week or two, although the indoor insect zapper shows a marked increase in performance after only a couple of hours recharging.

The latest model I’ve seen also comes with a strong light called a ‘headlamp’. I have found this very useful when out in the garden, but I’m not sure whether it’s meant to attract the mosquitoes in the dark so that you can zap them if you’re feeling bored or just vindictive. You know, a bit like an Anglerfish.

I’ve used the headlamp on my indoor insect killer for that reason as well, but the light uses a lot of battery power. All in all, the indoor bug killer is a big asset to any outdoor event. The indoor bug zapper is useful for ‘clearing’ your bedroom before retiring; it’s unequalled for killing evening mosquitoes and it will eradicate wasps at a lunch table as well.

Have you ever heard of an indoor bug zapper? If you haven’t, or if you want to get an electronic insect killer, please click one of the links to our web site or blog.

I don’t know whether you have ever used a handheld, indoor bug zapper, but I think that they are wonderful. I?m talking about the handheld sort that looks like a child’s plastic, toy tennis racquet. They come in two basic sorts. I rather the rechargeable bug zapper, for the reason that batteries end up up costing more than the indoor bug zapper itself, although you could always buy rechargeable batteries, but then they are costly too.

My wife and I like to spend time in the garden. We meet friends there, eat there and in general laze about outdoors, as do most people around here, when they are not working. Besides, it’s much cooler outside than inside. A comfortable chair, some snacks, a cool drink and a book or a companion and life does not get much better. In fact, it?s idyllic.

That is until about six or seven o’clock when the first squadron of mosquitoes have judged that the sun’s rays have lost enough strength that they will not evaporate and they come out looking for blood. Some evenings are worse than others, of course. Usually, the mosquitoes are pretty bearable, particularly seeing as I have discovered the indoor bug zapper. (I don’t know why it is called an ‘indoor bug zapper’, it is just as effective outdoors as in)..

It’s not that I want to kill things, but I find it difficult to have sympathy for mosquitoes. Nevertheless, I do get a certain amount of enjoyment from seeing and hearing mosquitoes and other bugs literally blow up with a flash and a spark as they come into contact with the electric and ground wires of the indoor bug zapper. These electric bug zappers are capable of packing quite a charge, especially if the batteries are new or the pack is wholly charged.

The other day, I found a new use for my handheld, indoor bug zapper. I’ll tell you how it came about. I was in the garden, as usual, and my bug zapper was close at hand as the first squadron of mosquitoes was expected. I had my book in one hand and the bug zapper on my lap, when my wife asked me to go to the store for her. No problem, therefore, I set off on the five minute walk.

I was half-way there when I noticed that I had the indoor bug zapper in my hand, but it was not worth taking it home and beginning the journey again. Anyhow, on my return journey, I had my small bag of groceries in one hand and the indoor bug zapper in the other, when a local tyrant of a dog came running out of a garden directly for me. This has happened often and, although he has never bitten me yet, it is rather menacing. He stood there glaring at me with teeth bared and his ‘pack’ of assorted local pals came out to encircle me and join in.

I don’t really know what the best course of action is in this situation. I have tried holding my ground, but the intimidation just goes on and I have tried to keep walking, but he gets worryingly close by on occasion. This time, I unexpectedly lashed out with the indoor bug zapper and just caught him on the snout. Well, I’m not sure whether it hurt him, it did not seem to too much, but it gave him a very nasty shock in more ways than one, I can tell you! He leapt about four feet into the air as if he were on a pogo stick and then ran for all he was worth with all his pals following him. It was very gratifying after six months of aggravation from this dog.

Anyway, I don’t take my indoor bug zapper everywhere with me, but I will in future, if any more local dogs bother me. I know it works a treat. I have seen that one since, but he keeps far away from me and doesn’t utter a sound. I think I would take my indoor bug zapper with me, if I were wandering in an unknown part of town or the park nevertheless.

Have you ever used an indoor bug zapper? If you haven’t, or if you want to get an indoor bug zapper, just click one of the hyperlinks to our web site or blog.

If you aren’t already familiar with the electric insect killer, you are really going to love it and if you have used one before, I’m sure you’ll welcome it back like an old friend! The handheld bug zapper does just what it says it does: it zaps bugs. But it does it really, really effectively.

Any bug that comes into contact with the handheld bug killer is fried. Smaller bugs like gnats and mosquitoes are vaporized with a very pleasing flash and a crack. Larger bug, like house flies and wasps die, but don’t explode like the smaller ones.

How many times have these flying bugs taken the edge off an otherwise enjoyable evening in the garden? Or how many times have you not been able to get a good night’s sleep, because you know there’s at least one mosquito in the bedroom. It has happened to me hundreds of times, I know! It is very satisfying to get your own back with the electronic insect killer.

I don’t like killing anything unnecessarily – I’m married to a Buddhist- but mosquitoes? I’m sorry, they can die. And the electronic insect killer does it without any more ado. No waiting and hoping they’ll fly into the ultraviolet light and into the mesh. No, one sweep of the electric bug killer and the mosie’s gone and you can hear whether you got her or not. (I say her, because the sucking mosquitoes always are females – I assure you, I wasn’t being sexist).

There are two basic sorts of electronic bug zapper. There’s the battery operated bug zapper and the rechargeable electric bug zapper. Both work on the same principle, but I prefer the rechargeable kind, although I suppose you could use rechargeable batteries too. (I bet they would be more expensive that the bug zapper in the first place). Anyway, I have had a hand held insect zapper of the rechargeable sort for five years and I am very happy with them.

Nowadays, I spend a lot of time in Thailand with my wife, so you can bet your bottom dollar that I give my electric insect killer a good work-out practically every evening. We usually eat in the garden in the evening and all socializing is done outside by tradition, especially in the rural areas, where we live. So it comes in real handy. I also use my hand held insect killer to ’sweep’ the bedroom for bugs before we go to sleep at night. Just like an FBI agent.

The electric bug zapper seems to improve every time I buy one, which makes it difficult to give you definite specifications. The hand held bug zappers I bought four or five years ago, often failed after six to nine months of purchase, although their ability to store a charge was less after four or five months.

However, the new handheld insect killer will last 9-12 months and still be very pokey after nine months. My latest model even has a powerful torch called a headlamp incorporated into it. I’m not sure what it’s supposed to be for, but if you feel that vengeance is sweet, you can lure mosquitoes with it and then zap them with your handheld bug zapper.

Have you ever heard of a handheld bug zapper? If not, or if you want to get a handheld bug zapper, just click one of the links to our website or blog.

The common indoor bugs we see anywhere in the world are flies, spiders, fleas and beetles. No-one likes to see insects indoors, so most people go to just about any lengths to get rid of these common indoor bugs. Less common indoor bugs may be woodlice, earwigs, scorpions and millipedes or centipedes, although they are not less unwelcome.

No matter where you are in the world, it is very hard to keep these common indoor bugs outside, unless you go to the extremes of keeping all your windows and doors closed at all times, which is quite impossible. I now live in Thailand and I know for sure that this is not possible.

So, just what can you do about it? Well, let’s sort out all the flying insects first, because of all the common indoor bugs, I think they are the most unpleasant indoor bug. They are very irritating, buzzing around your head and mosquitoes and other flies can produce painful sores and besides that, all flies spread disease. I cannot bear to see them walking on food, knowing that they have probably just come off some dog’s muck somewhere and now they are spitting on my food in order to taste it with their stinking feet!

My first line of defence is fine-mesh door and widow screens. They are not expensive and can be added retrospectively to any window. My window meshes slide, so they can cover only one half of a window at a any one time, but I do not find that a problem. You can still create cross-winds, by opening two or more windows at opposing ends of a room. I just love to see the flies on the mesh trying to get in by day and the mosquitoes doing the same by night. At night, it is wise to turn on as little light indoors as possible in order not to draw these common indoor insects.

My second line of defence is natural predators – lizards, like Geckos (Jin Jok, in Thai). Some people don’t like them in the house either and I can’t say that I’m all that keen on them indoors myself, but they are hard to keep out and they do eat hundreds, if not thousands, of indoor bugs every day. I particularly like to see them lying in wait on the outside of the mesh, ready to pounce on any bug trying to struggle its way through the wires.

My third line of defence is an indoor bug zapper. You know, the electric, handheld bug zapper that looks like a toy tennis racquet. They are brilliant at catching and annihilating any flying indoor bug. The bug literally explodes and vaporizes on contact with the fully-charged wires of the indoor bug zapper. If you haven’t tried using one, you really should. They are most satisfying. These three defences keep our house quite much free of flying insects.

The creeping common indoor bugs are less of a problem really. Door screens on self-closers will keep 99% of them out and the Geckos will help too. Spiders can get in pretty very easily, but then, I don’t mind them too much as long as they keep out of my way, as they eat other insects too. They are on our side really. However, for those who can not bear to catch them and put them outside, the handheld indoor bug zapper works a treat on spiders too.

Sometimes, Fleas can be a problem, if you keep cats or dogs, but then if you wash or dust the animal once a month, you should be able to keep these common indoor bugs under control fairly easily. However, there are two final measures that we use. Every week, before we go out for the day, we spray every room with fly killer and every six-months we spray any rugs or carpets with a bug killer containing permethrin, which will survive washing and vacuuming for that long without losing its ability to kill common indoor bugs on contact. If you stick with these methods, you should be able to keep your home or office quite free of the most common indoor bugs and the less common indoor bug as well.

Have you ever used an indoor bug zapper? If you haven’t, or if you are interested in getting an indoor bug zapper, please click one of the links to our web site or blog.

Wanting to unearth ladies’s wide width shoes? You may be wondering if it is essential for you to get wide shoes. In this article I am going to tell you why buying ladies wide shoes is vital. No matter what profession you are in or if you are a stay at home Mom – all women love shoes. I have seen up to 500 shoes in some closets. When I asked them how scores of they truly wore within the last 6 months they usually just pointed out 3 or 4 pairs!

Womens Wide Width Shoes

It is challenging enough for women to find comfortable shoes when they do not have wide feet but when you have wide feet it can be even more complicated. There are several ladies that will surrender the comfort of their feet just so they can wear trendy shoes. If you are one of those women I of course can’t stop you but you may be sacrificing even more than the comfort of your feet.

While you will of course be feeling pain during the time that you are wearing the shoes you will also feel pain long after you remove the shoes from your feet. I have taken my shoes off to achieve massage my foot and accomplish relief more than once in my life so I do comprehend. Until about a year ago I didn’t even know about ladies’s wide width shoes. When I slipped my feet into my first pair it was sort of a moment where I said “duh!” and I never looked back since I started wearing ladies wide shoes.

Womens Wide Width Shoes

You too can profit from wearing wide shoes if you have wide feet. Do not crunch your poor feet into shoes that do not fit anymore. It’s just not kind and you will be a much happier person if you are comfortable.

T-Mobile phones’ services are available to roughly a quarter of the population of the world, if we consider the fact that this is the area over which they can offer broadcasting services. This massive feat is feasible due to massive support from big brand names and companies like Samsung, Nokia and Motorola. However, in spite this there are other things that T-Mobile phones might be able to surprise you with.

The comms packages available, whether designed for private, family or corporation usage, include mobile phones most of the time and some of these mobile phones really are the newest on the market. There is however a problem with such wonderful offers, there is always a clause that the purchaser is not fully conscious of.

Far from suggesting that you ought to run the peril of being cheated, I only think that good quality advice needs to be given about what you can gain and what you lose with the various mobile T-Mobile phones packages. Let us pose the circumstances that you have set your sights on a great model of mobile phone, but that it is totally out of your reach because the price is too high for your budget. You can easily overcome this problem if you choose to sign a contract with T-Mobile to have their cell phone for a minimum period of two-years.

In that way you get a good mobile phone but at a far lower price and T-Mobile Phones wins by having you signed for a full two year period with all the charges that you will have to pay over the longer time period. What you need to be asking yourself is whether the change of cell phone every year that you will give up is worth having to pay the increased monthly fees.

Reviewers assert that T-Mobile phones have a lot more features meant to facilitate access to the various Internet services, yet, they lack some quite fundamental technical quality standards. Therefore, even some of the Nokia models are often called run of the mill when it comes to the technical specifications of the camera, for instance.

Nokia has sold a lot of models as T-Mobile phones, but there are still loads of cell phones still in stock. Moreover, people are finding prices over $400 more and more difficult to pay, particularly in the austere financial climate of 2009 and probably 2010.

Part of the criticism that Nokia T-Mobile phones have received stems from the small price discount even after signing up for a considerably protracted period of time. What solutions are there? We do not know yet, but it is clear that phone companies need to redefine their sales terms and the conditions they offer to users in order to come up with packages that will win customers over.

T-Mobile phones are incontestably part of a race to dominate the market, which means that you should check all the services and advantages the company offers and compare them with that of the competition. Only in this way, can you select the cell you want and be sure you have got good bargain!

It appears that there has been a decline in consumer confidence in the building and construction industry of late. This may be because of the scams highlighted on television or the bribery and corruption endemic in the corporate sector, but it is almost certainly the same motivation why so many are now carrying out home improvements by themselves.

And why shouldn’t they? A little knowledge of the technical aspects combined with an eye for creativity is often enough to complete the home improvement on your own.

Why are people turning to do-it-yourself home improvements?

There are many people attempting to pass themselves off as construction workers, although they do not have a lot of expertise in construction or home maintenance and they are literally are out there right now practising, learning their trades on homes like yours and mine across the country.

As a result, homeowners are finding that the jobs are not being finished to their liking. At times they are even pre-paying for services that do not get done or were not part of the arrangement.

You do not have to rely on and pay someone to enhance your home. Why not have a go yourself?

You can augment your home?s existing concrete surfaces using acid stains, acrylic paints, epoxy paints, and scoring techniques.

If you are tired of looking at dull gray concrete, there are some easy projects if you are serious about having a go at home improvement DIY, you can easily give your patio, driveway or garage a refreshing new look.

Attractive concrete work costs about double that of standard concrete, which is why many people cannot afford it.

However, there are inexpensive methods to beautify concrete after it has cured, without having to pay skilled tradesmen.

Acid-based concrete stains are becoming more and more fashionable for coloring concrete surfaces. They chemically react with the cement to generate permanent color with a variegated or mottled look like that of marble. This results in a natural, stylish looking surface.

Water-based concrete stains are an alternative to acid stains but are much more user friendly because they are so much less toxic. These stains do not chemically react with the concrete; they are absorbed into the porous surface and act like a colorant. The big advantage of water based stains is the wide range of colors on hand.

If you want to venture beyond the basic staining of your concrete, think about using some scoring techniques to create patterns on the surface.

You can make your concrete resemble a tiled floor for example. It is just up to your imagination. A mini angle grinder with a 4 inch cutting wheel is the perfect tool for this.

The key thing to remember when scoring is to trace out the pattern on the concrete first and ensure you are happy with the way it looks because scoring is irreversible.

Epoxy paints make an excellent coating for garage floors and cellar floors. Many industrial floors have epoxy coatings because of their hardiness and resilience to chemical spills as well as their appearance.

In recent years, however, it has become very popular for residential use with the availability of an growing number of different colors. This is not a complicated job, but the key to successful application is surface preparation.

Epoxy paints have also become available in a water based form making it safe for the DIY’er and perfect for indoor applications. They cost a little more than stains. For a 400 square foot area, you’ll pay out about $200 for the materials needed for this job.

So, you see? You do not have to spend big money to improve your home. You have the capacity to do it yourself. With some instructions and a little bit of work, anyone can turn boring concrete into a masterwork of their own.

I don’t know whether you have ever used a handheld, indoor bug zapper, but I think that they are marvelous. I’m talking about the handheld kind that looks like a child?s plastic, toy tennis racquet. They come in two basic kinds. I prefer the rechargeable bug zapper, because batteries end up up costing more than the indoor bug zapper itself, although you could always buy rechargeable batteries, but then they are steep too.

My wife and I like to pass time in the garden. We meet friends there, dine there and in general loaf about outside, as do most folks about here, when they are not working. Besides, it’s much cooler outdoors than indoors. A comfy chair, a few snacks, a cool drink and a book or a buddy and life does not get much better. In fact, it?s idyllic.

That is until about six or seven o’clock when the first wave of mosquitoes have judged that the sun’s rays have lost enough strength that they will not evaporate and they come out searching for blood. Some evenings are worse than others, of course. More often than not, the mosquitoes are fairly bearable, particularly seeing as I have discovered the indoor bug zapper. (I don’t know why it is called an ‘indoor bug zapper’, it is just as functional outdoors as in)..

I was in the garden, as normal, and my bug zapper was close at hand as the first squadron of mosquitoes was expected. I had my book in one hand and the bug zapper on my knees, when my wife asked me to go to the store for her. No problem, therefore, I set off on the five minute walk.

I was half-way there when I realized that I had the indoor bug zapper in my hand, but it was not worth taking it home and beginning the journey again. Anyway, on my return trip, I had my small bag of groceries in one hand and the indoor bug zapper in the other, when a local tyrant of a dog came running out of a garden directly for me. This has occurred often and, although he has never bitten me yet, it is quite frightening. He stood there glaring at me with teeth bared and his ‘pack’ of sundry neighborhood friends came out to encircle me and join in.

I don’t actually know what the best course of action is in this situation. I have tried standing my position, but the intimidation just continues and I have tried to keep walking, but he gets chillingly close by sometimes. This time, I suddenly lashed out with the indoor bug zapper and just caught him on the nose. Well, I’m not sure if it hurt him, it did not seem to too much, but it gave him a very nasty shock in more ways than one, I can tell you! He jumped about four feet into the air as if he were on a pogo stick and then ran for all he was worth with all his pals behind him. It was very gratifying after six months of harassment from this dog.

The indoor insect killer is the best way of ridding your immediate vicinity of insects, especially the flying ones like mosquitoes. The hand held insect killer evaporates any insect from a mosquito to a gnat instantly on contact with a nice, loud, electrical ‘zap’!

However, this does not mean to say that the hand held bug zapper cannot be used outside, so long as it is not too wet. It should be handled just like any other high voltage electrical item. Keep the indoor insect zapper dry and please do not use it when you are standing in the pool!

Models vary greatly, but there are basically only two types of hand held insect zapper: the battery operated bug zapper and the rechargeable electric bug zapper. Both are equally effective at zapping bugs and work on the same principle.

The hand held bug zapper looks like a ‘kids’ tennis racket, but with three sets of ’strings’, which are in fact wires. The innermost grid of wires becomes electrified at the touch of a button, while the other two networks, one on either side, are only earths.

When a bug is caught between the wires of the hand held insect zapper, it creates a short, which evaporates it instantly with a loud crack and a flash. The indoor insect killer will zap other insects too, but they tend to fry instead of just disappear.

I have been using the rechargeable type for about five years and am extremely satisfied with the indoor insect zapper. In fact, the electric insect killer has come a long way in the last few years. A fully charged indoor insect killer is powerful enough to last for a few hundred swipes and will hold it’s charge, if unused, for weeks without any noticeable discharge.

The rechargeable battery unit will take serious use for the best part of a year, although its capability to hold a charge for a few weeks gradually diminishes after six or seven months.

The latest indoor insect killer I’ve used has a main on/off switch, an LED that shines when it is activated (the brightness of this light also indicates the battery’s strength) and a light that comes on when it is plugged in on recharge.

The instructions suggest that the bug zapper should be (re)charged for about sixteen hours. However, I usually put mine on charge over night once or twice every week or two, although the electric bug zapper shows a large increase in performance with only a few hours recharging.

The latest model I’ve had also comes with a strong light called a ‘headlamp’. I have found this very handy when walking in the garden, but I’m unsure whether it’s meant to lure the flies in the dark so that you can kill them if you’re feeling bored or just vindictive, rather like an Anglerfish.

I’ve used the headlamp on my indoor insect zapper for that reason too, but the beam uses a lot of battery power. All in all, the hand held insect killer is a huge asset to any outdoor event. The electric bug killer is useful to ‘clean out’ your bedroom before retiring; it’s unequalled for evening mosquitoes and it will clear a lunch table of wasps as well.

Have you ever heard of an indoor bug zapper? If not, or if you are interested in getting an indoor bug zapper, just click one of the hyperlinks to our website or blog.
